Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year TwoSample

Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:14 NKJV).
What is a key role for angels in the early church?
Angels are used by God to deliver His saints physically and spiritually. They free apostles from prison (Acts 5:19) and guide Philip and Cornelius (Acts 8:26; 10:3, 7; 11:13). An angel frees Peter from prison in response to the church’s prayers (Acts 12:7–11) and strikes Herod for his evil deeds (Acts 12:23).
Remember that angels are still active in the world today. Trust in God’s presence and help even when you cannot see it. Who knows, maybe you are surrounded by spiritual forces right now that God has dispatched to protect you.
Employment Point: Know that God uses angels for physical and spiritual deliverance.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
