Ignite: 5 Days to Awaken the Fire of God Within YouSample

Purifying Fire
Verse:
“He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver…” —Malachi 3:3a (NKJV)
Devotional:
God’s fire doesn’t just warm us—it purifies us. The Holy Spirit refines our hearts like a silversmith purifies metal: by turning up the heat and burning away impurities. This isn’t punishment; it’s preparation. He is shaping us into vessels that reflect His glory.
Too often, we resist the refining process because it’s uncomfortable. But without fire, we remain impure and ineffective. Invite the Holy Spirit to burn away everything that dulls your reflection of Christ. Let Him do His deep work.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, refine me. Burn away every selfish motive, every impure desire, and anything that clouds Your image in me. I want to reflect Your glory.
Reflection Questions:
1. What areas of your life need refining?
2. How do you typically respond to spiritual discomfort?
3. Are you willing to invite God’s fire to purify you today?

About this Plan

You weren’t made to live lukewarm. You were made to burn—with passion, purpose, and God’s Presence. Ignite: 5 Days to Awaken the Fire of God Within You by Lisa Schwarz is for those who feel the flame has faded—or simply know there’s more. Through Scripture and Spirit-led reflection, you’ll explore what it means to build the altar, surrender fully, and invite the Holy Spirit to move. This isn’t hype. It’s holy fire—powerful, purifying, & personal. Whether you’re weary, burned out, or just hungry for more, this devotional will help you tend the flame and encounter God afresh.
