Jesus Gives Regularly
What’s something you do every single day? Brush your teeth? Eat breakfast? Sleep at night? Some things become habits, which means they happen over and over again.
That’s how God gives. He doesn’t give once and then stop. He gives regularly, again and again, every single day.
The Bible says, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23, NIV). Think about that: when the sun rises, it’s not just the start of a new day. It’s proof that God is still giving! His mercy, His love, and His care show up every single morning.
Jesus taught His disciples to pray, “Give us today our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11, NIV). Bread means food, but it also represents everything we need to live—like safety, strength, and hope. Just like God provided fresh manna from heaven every morning for the Israelites in the desert, He gives us what we need at just the right time, every single day.
The Bible reminds us, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights” (James 1:17, NIV). Not just the big ones, but all of them! That means even the little things: sunshine, laughter, friends, and yes, even your favorite snack.
Jesus gives regularly because He loves us. We can count on Him every day, no matter what.
Challenge:
Start a “God Gives Daily” journal. Each night before bed, write down or draw one good gift God gave you that day. After a week, look back and see how faithful He is, every single day!
About this Plan

The Giving Challenge Kids 11-Day Bible Plan helps children learn to live with a generous heart, just like Jesus.
