Loving God and neighbor sounds good. I think most of us would like to naturally do those things well. But that’s not always how it works.

There are going to be days when it’s difficult—when you’re frustrated, distracted, discouraged, or tired. And in those moments, you’ll need something from God to keep going.

So … what do you need right now in order to love well? Patience? Courage? Forgiveness?

The good news is that God doesn’t expect you to figure it all out on your own. He promises to meet every need, not just to get through the day, but to actually live the way He’s called you to. You just have to ask.

Take some time to pray today and tell God what you need in order to love Him and others well today. If you don’t know what you need, ask Him to show you.
