Start Here: The Greatest CommandmentsSample

There’s a lot of confusion around the word “love.” It’s easy to think it’s just a feeling. Others think it’s all about being nice. But this verse gives us something clearer—love is connected to action.
Love means doing what God has said. From the beginning, He’s said this: Love each other.
That’s not about being perfect—it’s about being intentional. Choosing to care. Choosing to show up. Choosing to live in a way that reflects the love we’ve received from God.
Love is not just something you feel—it’s something you do. It moves toward people. It listens. It serves. And it’s one of the clearest ways we show that we love God.
Read the verse again. Circle the word “doing.” What does that tell you about love?
