Generosity

Generosity isn’t just about money—it’s about the posture of our heart. It’s a willingness to give freely, not out of obligation but out of love and trust in God’s provision. True generosity flows from a heart that recognizes everything we have belongs to Him and is meant to be shared for His glory.

I remember hearing about the Moravians, a community that embodied radical generosity. Their commitment to the gospel was so deep that some willingly sold themselves into slavery to reach the lost. They understood that generosity isn’t just about giving what’s convenient—it’s about surrendering our whole lives for the sake of others.

God calls us to hold our resources with open hands—not just our finances, but also our time, talents, and energy. When we live with a heart that gives freely, we reflect the very nature of Christ, who gave everything for us. We are not blessed just for ourselves, but so that we may be a blessing to others.

Prayer: Lord, help me to hold everything You’ve given me with open hands and a generous heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.
