Jesus was intentional in taking care of Himself—body, mind, and spirit. He knew He had a purpose to fulfill. And you do too.

Jesus had a deep relationship with His Father and knew the Word was how He would fight each day. We need that same foundation. Jesus didn’t just know the Word and talk about it—He lived it. He served and cared for others. He loved others in community.

To live like Jesus means that our actions align with His Word—by serving others, by loving others, and by being in close community.

We get the opportunity to read Jesus' words in red, but we also get to see how He lived. Have you ever used the parenting phrase, "Do what I say, not what I do"? I know I have. Probably because my actions weren’t lining up with what I was trying to teach.

Jesus didn’t live that way. He did what He said. He modeled consistency, obedience, and trust. If we want to live like Jesus, we must learn His actions, His example, and His teachings.

Jesus trusted His Father’s plan and surrendered to His will. Jesus didn’t even rely on Himself—the Living God in the flesh. He relied on the Father through the Spirit.

You need to connect your spirit to the Holy Spirit that lives within your temple.

To live like Jesus is to live for God—in body, mind, and spirit.
