What Does Living Like Jesus Even Mean?Sample

So we see how Jesus was physically fit (body), we see how he was mentally fit (mind) but Jesus was also Spiritually fit!
We know that our body without our Spirit is lifeless. Literally, if there is no pulse - there is no life. But I want to go even further and say that we can have our soul - our spirit - alive but still be walking around like we are dead. And it’s because we have no connection with the Holy Spirit. Have you ever felt like you just go through the motions and have no zeal or excitement for life? When we are left to our own souls without connection to the Holy Spirit that dwells within us as Christians - our lives often look deathly. I have lived like dry dead bones, when I wasn’t in connection with the Holy Spirit. But I came alive when I fully surrendered to live less like my flesh and more in connection with God.
Jesus modeled this for us as well. Even as part of the trinity, he still shows his reverence to God, through surrender to the Father. He prays for his Father's will. Even on the cross, in extreme physical and emotional pain, he surrenders his body to God offering himself to God’s good and perfect plan.
His life was a living sacrifice - he came to earth, to show us how to live and then sacrificed his perfect life so that we could have an everlasting life. Paul tells us that we are to act in the same way by presenting ourselves as a sacrifice - and he says that is worship.
Are you living in a way that worships your God? Notice how he says to present our bodies? Because our bodies encapsulate our spirit - with HIS Spirit. God wants all of you to live for all that he has for you and all that he has given you!
