Do Not Be Anxious About AnythingSample

You Are Not Alone
Scripture:
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV
Reflection:
There’s a difference between being alone and feeling lonely.
Being alone can be peaceful, quiet, even refreshing. But loneliness feels different. It’s the ache of disconnection, the sense that no one really sees or understands what you're going through. We all face moments like that.
You might be surrounded by people and still feel invisible. Or walking through something so personal and heavy that it seems no one could truly get it.
But you’re not alone—not really. The Bible tells us that Jesus understands our weakness. Hebrews 4:15 says He “sympathises with our struggles”. He doesn’t just watch from a distance. He’s walked the road of sorrow, grief, rejection, and pain. He gets it. He gets you.
So even in your loneliest moments, you are seen, known, and deeply understood by the One who loves you most.
Journaling Prompt:
Ask the Holy Spirit to give you a picture in your imagination that will give you a glimpse into how God sees you. What do you see? Ask Him what He wants to say to you through this image.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for never abandoning me. Help me feel Your presence today. Amen.
Practical Tip:
When you’re feeling lonely, resist the urge to isolate. Text or call a trusted friend or family member. Invite them to go out and do something fun. Go bowling. Play pickleball. Eat ice cream. Have a laugh over coffee. Connection eases loneliness.
