Do Not Be Anxious About AnythingSample

God Will Make You Strong
Scripture:
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV
Reflection:
We don’t like feeling weak.
We try to hide it, fix it, or push through it.
But God sees weakness differently — not as failure, but as an invitation for His strength to shine.
In 2 Corinthians 12:9, God says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
It’s not when we’re at our strongest that God works most clearly. It’s when we’re at the end of ourselves, and all we can do is lean on Him.
That’s where grace flows in. Your weakness isn’t the end of the story. It’s the place where God begins to move in power. When we surrender what we can’t carry, we make room for Him to do what only He can do.
And His strength never runs out.
Journaling Prompt:
Where do you feel weak or not enough right now? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what it would look like to let God meet you in that place with His strength. Write what He shows you.
Prayer:
Lord, I feel weak. Be my strength. Let Your grace be enough for me today. Amen.
Practical Tip:
What is one area where you feel particularly weak? What would it look like if God’s grace was taking over in that area? Write it. Draw it. Or create a collage. Make something that is visible to remind you that God’s grace will do what you cannot do for yourself.
