Miracles and Mysteries: Matthew 8-13Sample

What stirs in your heart when you look at the world and the state it is in? Frustration? Indifference? Helplessness? Jesus felt compassion.
As He travels, teaching and healing, Jesus sees the crowds—lost, weary, and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He doesn’t turn away or condemn them. Instead, Jesus says, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” His heart moves toward them.
The glory of Christ is not only in His power but in His love. He sees deeper than the surface. Where others see an inconvenience, He sees souls needing a shepherd.
Today, ponder this: Do you see people as Jesus does? Are you willing to pray and go, joining Him in the harvest? Spend some time in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to help you see as Jesus does.
