The Way

DAY 5 OF 5

ISN’T HE WORTHY

Listen to “Isn’t He Worthy.”

Who split the seas setting captives free
Who trampled death in three days for me
Who changed our history
It is the King of kings

Jesus is the Way. This song is a great reminder of just that, pointing back to what Jesus can do, has done, and will do in the future. He’s the King of kings and yet also your closest friend. He’s the Lord of all and yet knows your story. So in response, we simply sing “hallelujah” and proclaim that He’s worthy of all our praise.

I’m reminded of the resurrection of Jesus, when He rose from the grave and defeated death. It’s so powerful and so incredible that you can’t help but want to tell the world about it.

On a completely different scale, you know when you go to a restaurant for the first time and it’s the best food you’ve ever had in your whole life? You immediately get on social media and post about it. You tell all your followers just how good it was and that they should check it out. Well, when you’ve heard the good news—when you’ve experienced the love, grace, and forgiveness of Jesus—you should have that same kind of passion to tell everyone about who our God is.

When I sing “Isn’t He Worthy,” it reminds me how good our God has been and will be. And as we worship, we’re not just declaring that He’s worthy—we’re also inviting everyone else who knows that He’s good to declare it with us!

Take some time today to remember all the things God has done for you: every prayer He has answered, and every stone He has rolled away.

—Savannah Knight, Life.Church Worship Pastor

Bonus: Post a story on social media telling your friends and followers what God has done in your life and showing everyone how good His love is—just like you would about a restaurant you’re eating at or a new vacation spot. He’s the best thing in our lives and we should want to tell everyone we know about Him!

About this Plan

The Way

This Bible Plan accompanies the album “The Way” from Life.Church Worship, a ministry of Life.Church. In this five-day devotional, we’ll explore afresh how Jesus is the Way—which leads us into a posture of gratitude, praise, and declaration of our redemption in Him.
