The Prayer in Gethsemane
Jesus, in His humanity, experienced deep anguish over the suffering He was about to endure. However, His prayer showed complete surrender to the Father's will. Even in His pain, Jesus chose obedience.
Sometimes we face difficult situations and want to avoid suffering. However, Jesus teaches us that true faith is shown in submission to God, trusting that His will is perfect, even when we do not understand it.
🔹 Application Questions:
- How do you respond when God calls you to do something difficult?
- In what area do you need to surrender more to God’s will?
