We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample

Day 349 of 365
Psalm 80 is a powerful plea for God’s restoration: “Restore us, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.” The psalmist’s cry captures the heart of every believer yearning for renewal and a fresh touch from God. In Revelation 7, we see a multitude standing before God, clothed in white robes and cleansed by the blood of the Lamb, representing the ultimate fulfillment of God’s restorative work. This scene of restoration and redemption is what we, too, are called to participate in, beginning in our own lives.
The Holy Spirit works within us to bring this renewal, healing our brokenness and drawing us closer to God. Restoration often means allowing God to reveal and cleanse the deeper parts of our hearts, the areas we might keep hidden. The Spirit invites us to open every corner of our lives to His refining work, trusting that His restoration brings freedom, healing, and strength.
Today, ask the Holy Spirit to work deeply within you, restoring any areas of brokenness or weariness. Invite Him to fill you with God’s renewing presence, transforming you to reflect His love and purity. Embrace the promise that, in Christ, you are made whole and restored, not only for your own sake but to shine His light in the world.
