Mark 11:9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
The crowds gathered in the streets, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the ONE who would save them. As the young colt gently yet purposefully galloped into Jerusalem, it carried the ONE who would deliver His people from their bondage. The people were filled with hope, yet uncertain of how to receive Him, the promised Messiah. As they looked up, a crescendo of voices rose in unison, crying out to Jesus, "SAVE NOW!" This resonates with the Hebrew phrase "Hosanna!" as we read in Mark 11:9.
Do you know that today, if you open the door of your heart and cry out to God, "SAVE NOW," He will hear you? He will pardon you. Let us join the crowd in their plea. Hosanna in the highest!
