Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year OneSample

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).
Are you living without fear because God is with you?
God is an ever-present help in trouble. Twice He calls Israel to be fearless and reminds them, "I will help you" (Isaiah 41:10, 14). The Lord is eternal. Isaiah pens, "I, the LORD, am the first; and with the last I am He" (Isaiah 41:4). God's eternal nature should help us to remember that He is all-powerful, knows everything, and is ever-present. Paul understands this and writes that He alone makes us capable to serve Him. He pens, "Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God" (2 Corinthians 3:5).
Employment Point: Fear not, because the eternal God will help you accomplish what He calls you to do.
