King & KingdomsSample

Now, Jesus tells the people that as God's Good Shepherd, He will one day lay down His life for the people so he can take it up again. Of course, He is referring here to His eventual death on the cross for the sake of all who would repent and believe the Gospel. This is what true Shepherd Leadership is: to lead and love sacrificially. The greatest love is that which will sacrifice and give it all to others, while taking nothing for ourselves. There is one flock, one Christian Church, that are all united by Jesus by knowing His voice. As those who love others, it should be our goal to invite everyone into the flock of Jesus Christ.
Think it Over: Who can you love sacrificially today? What is one act of kindness you can do while expecting nothing back?
