The Gospel of MarkSample

The primary theme of Jesus’ parables is the kingdom of God. Jesus was “casting alongside” this kingdom with everyday images to show surprising themes. This kingdom was not at all like the kingdoms people were accustomed to; it was within reach and available to everyone and anyone.
Many of the parables in this chapter refer to growth in the kingdom, even when it is not evident. Let’s take some time today to reflect on how the kingdom of God might grow in our lives?
