The Gospel of MarkSample

The Parable of the Sower is one of Jesus’ most well-known parables. There are seeds scattered that fall in all sorts of places:
- The path where the birds come and eat them
- Rocky ground where there was not enough depth in the soil
- Among thorns that choke the growth
- Good soil that allows the seeds to grow and thrive
Verse 14 tells us that the seed in this story is an analogy of the word of God. If you are engaging with this plan, it is probably because you desire the word of God to embed like a seed in your life, so be encouraged! Let’s meditate on what it means to be “good soil” for the word of God to grow and flourish in our lives.
