Journaling Through LentSample

Renewal of Hope
While today is the last day of focusing on renewal, let’s conclude by renewing our hope in God's promises.
God’s promises are an anchor to our restless souls. When we imagine the worst, anticipate the least, and can’t rely on most – God’s word stands alone in how much hope, encouragement, and joy it brings into our lives. Over the next phase of this devotion, we will practice intentionally by calling to mind aspects of God’s promises. But for today, I encourage you to thank Him for the gift of His Word.
Journaling Prompt:
Illustrate the concept of hope as an anchor. Use symbols and colors that convey the steadfast and secure nature of the hope found in God's promises.

About this Plan

This 40-day Lenten devotional will help you meditate on the themes of Repentance, Renewal, Remembrance, and Remission in the lead-up to Easter. Each day, you will focus on one theme, meditate on a portion of Scripture, and use a journaling prompt to encourage you to internalize what God is saying by expressing yourself through the creative art of journaling.
