Moses is gone now, and God tells Joshua that He has given the land of Canaan to the children of Israel. For Joshua, part of being a courageous leader means trusting God as his true source of strength. Joshua did not have all the answers, but he trusted the God who did. Joshua was inspired not by his strength or courage but by God's power and the commandments He had given to Joshua.
