One chapter later, Moses was struggling with the people and their complaints about their years of hardship in the desert. He did not know what to do and immediately sought God's guidance. Moses shows incredible honesty here and even tells God that he would rather be dead than lead these people anymore. We will discuss more about God's answer on Friday, but today, we should notice how God listened to Moses. God desires to be near His people, even in their struggles, anxieties, and worries. Moses was extremely anxious in this situation, and God met him right where he was at. He does that for us, too.
