Similar to the life of Joseph, Job reveals to us that life is unjust, and that both the rich and the poor suffer hardship, loss, sickness and death. It is all because of “The Fall.” Job shows us how to live, in light of suffering.
More importantly than Job’s response is that his story (the whole book) reveals to us that God is still faithful and true in the midst of our suffering, and He welcomes our questions, doubts, fears, and prayers. God is faithful. God is our Redeemer. He is our healer.
Think it Over: If God is the main character of our lives, just like he's the main character in Job's story, what does that change about how we feel about our circumstances?
