Start the Party - High SchoolSample

All of us can think of at least one time we have had to go somewhere, or knew we were going to see someone, and thought: what should I wear? Paul writes in his letter to the Colossians that what matters more than any kind of clothes we put on is what kind of character we put on. He’s talking about the characteristics people see in us or qualities we consider important. What kind of values on the inside is evident on the outside? Are they the ones we want on display? Look at the characteristics listed in today’s verses and ask yourself, “Am I struggling to wear any of these well?” As you review the list, write down the characteristics you struggle to use daily. Ask God to help you live out more of the characteristics on Paul’s list daily.
