Start the Party - High SchoolSample

Have you ever thought, “I really wish I had more money to do more to help other people?” A lot of us have thought like that. But this proverb makes a different kind of point. Being generous has nothing to do with what you have or how much of it you have. Generosity is more about the attitude we have. We can be generous with very little. And we can be selfish with a whole lot. A better question is, What can I do now with what I have? How can I develop an attitude of generosity right here and right now? So, as you pray today, ask God to point you toward ways you can be generous this week—with kind words, acts of service, or your money. As God brings ideas to mind, write them down and put them into practice.
