• This verse reminds us that we find abundant life through Christ and nothing less. Memorizing this verse helps us keep our eyes open for what abundant life truly looks like and equips us to better teach people how to live the same way! Two ideas for how you can memorize this verse:

1. Make some flashcards with your friends; take out certain words from the verse and leave a blank— then, see who can fill in the missing words on the flashcards with the correct words from the verse!
2. Draw a picture of what you think Jesus’ party would look like, and write the memory verse somewhere in the picture! For even more fun, grab your friends and tell them to do the same; then, you can compare what each of you thinks Jesus’ party looks like!

Why it’s important to memorize Scripture:

• To remind us of God’s heart for us. No matter what happens in life, He is a GOOD God who is ALWAYS on our side.
• To remind us of who God says WE are! To live this great, abundant life, we must live from the identity HE has given us and not the world!
