Start the Party - High SchoolSample

We don’t know much about Jesus and His growing-up years. In fact, this is the only story we have about Him between His birth and adulthood. And what it tells us about Jesus is significant. Luke said when Jesus was around your age, he listened to religious leaders and asked them questions. He wanted to know more and grow from that knowledge. If anyone had a right to think they knew it all, it would have been Jesus! But instead, Jesus was a learner. Who are the people in your life you are learning from? What do you think the difference in attitude is between wanting to grow in wisdom and thinking you have the answers you already need? How can you demonstrate an attitude of growth and humility this week?
