Start the Party - High SchoolSample

When you think about the Bible, maybe you think about lessons that inspire or tell you what Jesus is like. But a big part of what Scripture does is mentioned in this verse in 2 Timothy. Scripture can challenge us, correct us, and convict us. In other words, God’s word is useful in helping us realize the things in our lives that might need to change that maybe we haven’t been paying attention to. It isn’t always comfortable, but when we allow it, Scripture shows us who we are—the good, the bad, and the ugly. The question is, what will we do with what we see? Scripture does its part by showing us ourselves, but we need to do our part by changing what needs to change. Is there something Scripture has revealed to you that has challenged you? What can you do to change what needs to change?
