We are God’s Workmanship Many of today’s movies portray superheroes who save the day. They are considered ‘Saviors’ of the city, fighting the enemy and saving the people, city and nation from all sorts of attacks. During natural calamities, like earthquakes and floods, we see people going out of their way to help, some even risking their lives to save others. This ability to love and care for one another is a gift God has put into mankind. So, while in the physical realm it is possible to help or save others, can the same be said of the spirit realm? Can we save ourselves or humanity from what lies ahead of us? Can we choose the better life that God gave to mankind just by believing in His Son Jesus Christ? Friends, God opened heaven’s doors to every man on the face of this earth, regardless of religious, cultural or racial background. Jesus showed mankind the eternal way of life. He became the ‘superhero’ when He gave His life for the entire world on the cross of Calvary more than 2000 years ago. He paved the way for us to enter heaven where we can live for all eternity! God created us to live, move and exist in Him (Acts 17:28). He created us to do good and great works, which He Himself prepared for us to do. We need to submit to His Lordship over our lives and show genuine love, help others, heal the broken hearted and sick and prevent people from being destroyed. God is with us in this journey. Let’s go the extra mile! Prayer Father, I thank You for this journey called life. You saved me for good and great works, which I am eager to do every day. Thank You that You will be with me in this journey even as I go about doing these works all for Your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
