Psalms: Window to Our Souls, Part 2Sample

God’s Kingdom is upside down in that He exalts the humble. In a culture where we tend to worship the rich and powerful or take pride in our independence, God delights in those who are lowly and poor in spirit. For me, this is both convicting and comforting. Convicting because my pride leads me to take care of things myself, reject help, and feel the need to always look put together. Comforting because this Psalm tells me that I can show weakness, I can admit that I need help, and I should depend on the Lord. What are some of the biggest challenges for you when it comes to humility?
