Psalms: Window to Our Souls, Part 2Sample

Psalm 112 focuses on the contrast between the blessings for those who fear the Lord and delight in His ways versus the fate of the wicked. When I read the first section of this Psalm, it sounded too rosy as I reflected on world events and outcomes, where we see the wicked prevail or people who lie and cheat gain an upper edge. But we move on to verse 7 and interestingly, this Psalm does not shy away from the reality of adversities for those who delight in the Lord. More often than not, walking in righteousness is the harder path. It may feel that there are no benefits from doing so. How would this Psalm be an encouragement then for Christians to remain steadfast in trusting the Lord?
