Have you ever tried using Google Maps while your phone has no network connection? Spoiler alert: it will not work. Without connection, your directions will never load. God works similarly to Google Maps. We cannot have a relationship with God without building a link. We create a connection by praying, reading the Bible, or being kind to ourselves and others. If we make an everyday effort to do these things, our relationship with God grows stronger. When we do not make an effort to build the connection, like when Google Maps stops working, it is harder to get directions from God.
When we feel lost, we should ask, “At this moment, are we connected to God?”
