It’s no secret that people in our world are struggling with suicide, depression, anxiety, and low self-confidence now more than ever before. I have even personally struggled with depression and anxiety. The good news is, we follow the most powerful being in existence. God is the ultimate power source that can bring us peace in the darkest storm! As Christ-followers have the God of the universe on our side. We have hope He is more significant than our mistakes or circumstances.
This verse reminds us we can have hope because we can connect to God. We don’t have to be afraid because God is omnipresent, which means He is with us always! If God is for me, who can be against me? God also promises to strengthen and help us. When we feel weak, we can know that He is mighty. We will never have to carry our burdens on our own. Finally, we can rejoice because Jesus is victorious, so our mistakes don’t have to hold us back. Now it’s up to us to seek God and glorify Him by loving others.
This week, spend time talking to God about the things that stress you out because there is no struggle too big for Him.
