John 16:33 was one of the last messages Jesus gave to His disciples before being arrested. His time was limited, and Jesus knew his final words needed to provide the disciples and His future followers with hope.
Ways to help you memorize this verse:
1. Write the scripture on your hand. Whenever you look at your hand and see the scripture, repeat it five times.
2. Grab a book, flip to a random page, and try finding each word in the scripture on that page. Try to find the words in the order of the scripture. If you cannot find a word, flip to a different page. If you are still having a hard time finding a particular word, find a synonym for that word.
