All Change (Week 5)Sample

Day Five - I Can Grow to be Like Jesus
READ:
‘Jonah and the Big Fish’ in a Children’s Bible or Jonah 1:1 - 3:10
Jonah knew that he could pray, ask for forgiveness, and that God would hear him and help him. Jonah knew God very well.
Jesus knew that he could pray and ask God to help him. Jesus knew God very well.
Both Jonah and Jesus had a relationship with God.
Just like when we meet a new friend, we can get to know more about them when we spend time with them.
We can grow to be more like Jesus when we spend time with Him learning more about Him.
ASK:
Do you know Jesus as your friend? Maybe chat to your grownup about this.
If you don’t know Jesus as your friend, maybe you could ask Him to be your friend now?
REMEMBER:
Look at the new thing I am going to do.
It is already happening. Don’t you see it?
I will make a road in the desert.
I will make rivers in the dry land. (Isaiah 43:19)
SAY:
Thank you, Lord, that you have created us all unique and wonderful.
Help us to love you and everyone you have placed in our lives and
to become more like you every day - in Jesus name - Amen.
