All Change (Week 4)Sample

Day Two - I Can Make Good Choices
This week we are going to be looking at how ‘I Can Make Good Choices!’
READ: Jonah 2
Jonah ran away because he didn’t want to take God’s message to the people of Nineveh - Jonah was avoiding doing the right thing.
Sometimes we may feel like we don’t want to do the right thing - remember, God’s way is the best way - ask the Holy Spirit to help you do the right thing.
ASK:
Making good choices can sometimes feel hard - I am sure Jonah found it easier to run away from what God wanted him to do than do what God asked!
What good choices feel hard for you right now?
Talk with someone about these things - pray together and ask God to help you.
REMEMBER:
Isaiah 43:19:
"Look at the new thing I am going to do.
It is already happening. Don’t you see it?
I will make a road in the desert.
I will make rivers in the dry land."
SAY:
"Thank you, Lord, that you have created me uniquely and wonderfully.
Help me to love you and everyone you have placed in my life and
to become more like you every day - in Jesus' name - Amen.

About this Plan

Welcome to this devotional for kids! Our "All Change" series is inspired by our changeling DNA. Just like a caterpillar changes into a butterfly, we can all grow and change as we become more like Jesus by shaking off the old and stepping into the new. As we journey through this together let's learn all about the purpose God has for us!
