The Will of God: Part 3Sample

The Will of God: Part 3

DAY 13 OF 20

God's Will for Us is to Not Judge the Non-believer

  • Who has God the Father given authority to execute judgment? Why?
  • Who will be resurrected in Jesus’ second coming?
  • Who guides Jesus in His final judgement of individuals?
  • Here Jesus is the Son of God and yet can do nothing on His own. This includes judging others without God the Father speaking to Him first, even though He’s been given the authority to execute judgment. God has given us authority as well to: speak truth, bring the gospel, and share Jesus with others. But God has not given us the authority to judge. If Jesus wasn’t even given the full freedom to judge without the guidance of the Father, how clear is it that we should not judge those we are sharing the gospel with?

Ask God to show you how to use the authority given to you to share the gospel with others without judging them. Admit if there are people you are wanting to judge, condemn or withhold forgiveness to. Take time to again to surrender your will to the Lord and ask the Lord to speak to you as you follow Him.
