PRAY:  Dear God, I am Your servant and I want to present Your Word to the people around me. To many, You are still a mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but I want to talk about You to the people around me, so that they can see, "the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ". I want to share Your hope and glory, with wisdom, so that I may present everyone fully mature in Christ. Oh, work in me, God, and use me to give people Your hope, Your joy, and Your salvation. Thank You my God! Amen and Amen

REFLECT: It's easier to embrace the concept of being a missionary in a mission field if we get excited about the riches of God's mystery, which is Christ. It's not our job to change people, but it is our job to let others know the hope that we have within us. If we are confident in our faith and excited about what we know and who we love, then it will be very natural to show others who God is. We don't even have to preach. St. Francis said, "Preach the gospel at all times, and if necessary use words." If we want others to know about our awesome Jesus, then it will bubble out of us every day. Do you love Jesus enough to want others to experience the same thing that you have? That's the key to being an effective missionary. And wherever you are becomes your mission field! It's that easy!

ACT:  God commissioned us to present His word, His truth, and His love to other people. Think of the ways you can present His word to the people around you. Here are some possibilities: Pray for people, by name, to embrace the love of Jesus. Serve people, give them gifts in love, sacrifice for them, be a listening ear, don't judge them, show compasion and care for them. Each of these ideas is how you can be eternally significant in your mission field. Go out today and prayerfully do or say something to someone in your mission field that shows you love them. Be an example of Jesus' love.
