Your RESET Map

Before Jesus, we basically did whatever we wanted. It was great—except that, left to our own ways, we’ll always screw up our lives.

We’ve already talked about how we’ve been given a new story, a new identity, and a new power. Now we need a new map to help us along life’s journey.

The Bible is God’s map for our lives. That doesn’t mean it shows us exactly where to go, but it does give us a clear way of seeing the world.

The Bible helps us to get a better view of God and ourselves. The Bible is a diverse collection of stories, wisdom, songs, counsel, and letters that collectively help us understand what it means to love God, love one another, and follow Jesus.

The Bible helps us to live now and gives us hope for the future. It reminds us of God’s promises and helps us to keep focused on Jesus.

We’re part of a new story. We have a new identity in Jesus and new power through the Holy Spirit. And now, we have a new Map to guide our lives.
