Good Deeds 

God’s love is everlasting. Many times we would have forgotten His deeds, but He remembers every one of our good works and rewards us at the right time. 

Few years back a businessman who did not know God came running to my father Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran for prayers as he was in trouble. When my father prayed for him, the Spirit of God came upon him and showed him this businessman’s life. The Lord said, “Many years ago this man had done a good deed. He had saved the modesty of a young girl; so tell him that I will help him.” When my father told him, the man was shocked. He said “How much Jesus loves me, I had nothing to do with God; even now I am unworthy to receive a blessing from Him. In spite of all my sins He has remembered the one good deed that I did, several years ago”. He tasted the love of God and from then on he turned towards Him. 

My friend, the love of God is fathomless. He remembers your good deeds inspite of your sinful life. The word of God says that He will remember your sins no more, but He counts your every good deed. So, shed your old ways and turn towards His everlasting love. This is your chance to come back to the Father. 

Prayer

“Loving Lord, how amazing is Your everlasting love. Father, I thank You for not remembering my sins, but with just one act of goodness You embrace me. Lord, I commit myself to leave my evil paths and turn towards Your love. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
