Blessing For Todayគំរូ

Two Masters
Jesus had twelve disciples and each was from a different field of work. Judas Iscariot was one of them. Who was he? From the scriptures, we know that he was appointed as the treasurer of the twelve and became a thief, stealing from that very treasury. Jesus went around doing good and all His disciples including Judas witnessed the signs and wonders. But his heart was not upright. What did he do? Judas’ only mistake was to lend his ears to Satan’s words. Though He was with Jesus, he also wanted to enjoy the pleasures of the world. Finally, he became a traitor who betrayed Jesus and ended his own life in a horrible way.
My friend, the Bible tells that one cannot serve two masters. Isn’t it true? Surely both the masters will have two different thoughts and likings. If you try to satisfy both, then finally you will be in jeopardy like Judas.
Yes my beloved, is your life too like a cat on the wall? Then this is the time to analyse yourself. God says to you, “My child, I do not want you to be in a lukewarm state. I wish only good things for you. My love for you is everlasting. So come to Me.” My friend, respond to His loving call. He is there for you. Will you be there for Him?
Prayer
“Loving Lord, I thank You for the word of blessing You have spoken to me. Father, today I give my life into Your hands. Let me not lend my ears to the devil but fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guide me. This I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
