Hope! Wait! 

A man of God was very poor and so whatever money he got through the ministry he used for the ministry as well as for his personal needs. While he was preaching in one of the meetings, the organizer of that meeting said, “The entire offering collected today will be given only to the Preacher.” Hearing this the preacher was very happy. The meeting was over and the treasurer gave him the offering money. When he reached his house, he saw the treasurer making note of only half the amount. He was angry and depressed and could not sleep the whole night. At that time, he saw the Gideon’s Bible, opened it and began reading when the Holy Spirit came upon him. His eyes fell on the above mentioned verse. ‘Those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land’, he left the thought of money into God’s hand. After that, God slowly began to prosper his life. 

My friend, sometimes even you may go through such paths without your knowledge. But it is at this time that you should be careful to seek the Lord and wait on Him. The devil comes to steal from you and hurt you. He will steal your heart without your knowing. At that time, seek the help of the Holy Spirit, He will speak to you through the word of God and you will inherit His blessings.

Prayer

“Loving Lord, thank You for speaking to me through this word. Sometimes, even I go through such paths without my knowledge. At times like these let Your Holy Spirit guide me carefully to seek You and wait on You. I bind every evil force that tries to separate me from You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
