Blessing For Todayគំរូ

The Elder Brother
Once there were twin brothers. The elder brother was a good person, but the younger brother was a wicked person. Whenever this younger brother did something wicked, his elder brother used to save him. But one fine day, the younger brother came home in a blood drenched shirt. When the elder brother enquired, he said, “I have killed a man. Please save me brother. The police are chasing me.” The elder brother immediately asked his younger brother to remove his shirt and give it to him. After changing, he said, “At least from today onwards don’t commit wicked deeds. Go and hide somewhere. Live happily.” The police came and caught the elder brother and put him in jail.
The Bible says that Jesus is your elder brother. Though the whole world fell into sin, Jesus is not ashamed to call you as brothers and sisters. Besides that, like these twin brothers, Jesus took all your punishment on the cross. He went to the cross instead of you, so that you could be free and live happily. Jesus is your elder Brother. He loves you and cares for you. There is a hope and future for you. You are not alone. The mighty God and wonderful Counselor is your brother.
Prayer
“Loving heavenly Father, I am wandering around like an orphan even though I am surrounded by people. But, today, I thank You for opening my eyes to this verse which says ‘You are my Brother.’ Help me during times of disaster. Deliver me from all evil. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
‘A brother is born to help in disaster’

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
