Blessing For Todayគំរូ

Nothing Can Harm Us
David Brainerd, having a great burden for souls, went to minister among the Native American Indians. They were cruel people. If any servant of God entered their village, they would ruthlessly shoot him down with arrows. So he pitched a tent outside the village and started praying for them. At that time, two youngsters who were guarding that village were waiting to kill the evangelist. But, they were shocked to see what was happening. A big poisonous snake was moving stealthily towards the tent of David Brainerd. They felt happy and said, “This snake will do what we intended to do to him.” But, David Brainerd, unaware of this was praying to God. The snake entered the tent and raised its hood in front of the servant of God. After a few moments, it bowed down its head and moved silently out of the tent. The youngsters, who were watching this incident, were frightened and ran into the village, shouting, “God’s Spirit has come down.”
My friend, God will protect You from every evil act. In today’s portion, we read in the Bible that the viper did no harm to Paul in the island. That incident resulted in the people of the island calling him “God”. Just stay in His presence always. His mighty wings are spread over you to cover you. These supernatural miracles will open someone’s eyes to salvation.
Prayer
“Loving Father, I commit myself today to be filled with Your presence always. I thank You for the promise of protection. I believe that You are with me always to lead me in safe paths. Protect me Lord from all destruction. Cover me under Your mighty wings. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work. We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
