Seven Exits

Once, a husband tried to kill his own wife who loved the Lord so much. She appeared to be a hindrance for his indulgence in sinful pleasures. At last, he got some poison from a magician who told him, “As soon as your wife drinks this, evil spirits will follow her causing a kind of giddiness and in the end she will run out of the house like an insane woman.” So he went back home and forced his wife to drink it. She firmly refused to touch it in spite of his terrible blows and beatings. At last unable to stand it anymore, she took the cup in her hand and prayed, “Lord, I cannot bear this torment anymore; I am not afraid to die. But I don’t want to run on the streets like an insane woman. Show me Your mercy. I must either die at once or this poison should become ineffective”. Then she drank it without a trace of fear. The husband was watching her, with great expectation and joy. But something entirely different happened. The husband started to scream. Everything that he was expecting to see happen to his wife, happened to him.

My dear friend, this is what happens to those who come against God’s people. No weapon formed against you will prosper. The devil can enter through a tiny way. But he will be scattered in seven different directions. Nothing will ever harm those who have the Lord Almighty as their shelter.

Prayer

“Loving Father, I thank You for Your eternal promise of protection. I believe in this promise. Whatever evil plans are plotted against God’s purposes in my life, I command them to leave in Jesus’ name. Thank You, Lord, for taking away all my oppressions in Jesus’ name, I take this victory. Amen.”

‘No sorcery against God’s people will ever prosper’

Blessing For Today

Every day we must know the plans that the Lord has kept in store for our lives. The Lord has given us His word to reveal His plans to us. He reveals His plans through the word of God as we read it with reverence and prayer. When we hear His voice through our meditation of His word our hearts will burn like fire filled with joy (Psalm 39:3). Then as we follow it with proclamation of those words through the power of the Holy Spirit through our prayer, the blessings of that day will come upon us. Not only the blessings, but the grace of God shall come upon us to carry out that day’s work.  We have compiled the Bible passage for you to read as well as the Lord’s revelation for each day. We pray that through this the Lord may give you the grace to be connected to Him throughout this year.
