Day Six 

Everything’s a Gift - We always celebrate and practice thankfulness! We choose to focus on how great God is. We are thankful for everything in our lives and for the people around us.  

READ:

Washing the Disciples' Feet in any children's Bible or in John 13:3-30 (ICB). 

Jesus is such a great teacher. He still teaches us today. When we read the bible we learn more about Him and how we can live and try to be just like Him. 

Jesus would be leaving the disciples soon and He wanted to make sure that they knew how to care for each other. 

ASK:

Can you see how Jesus teaches us about loving and serving others?

When we celebrate and practice thankfulness it takes our focus off ourselves and places it on God. 

How can you be sure to celebrate God’s goodness and practice thankfulness today? 

REMEMBER:

Psalm 9:1 

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;  I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

SAY:

My God is good, 

He is awesome and great.

He helps me be strong,

Even when I’m afraid. 

I will say thank you,

For all He has done.

For me and my people, 

He loves everyone.
