Game Changer (Week 6)គំរូ

Day Five
Everything’s a Gift - We always celebrate and practice thankfulness! We choose to focus on how great God is. We are thankful for everything in our lives and for the people around us.
READ:
Washing the Disciples' Feet in any Children's Bible or John 13:3-30 (ICB).
This story reminds us that it is important to show love and be kind to each other.
One of the ways we can do this is to tell and show others how grateful we are for them. We can say 'thank you', be kind to and encourage each other. These are just some of the ways we let others know we love them and are grateful for them!
ASK:
Who can you let know that you are thankful for them today?Maybe you could make them a picture or a card? Maybe you could send them a message? Ask your grownup to help you.
Let's take some time to pray and say 'thank you' for all the people around us today.
Maybe you can make a note in your little book or journal of all the people you are thankful for?
REMEMBER:
Psalm 9:1
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
SAY:
My God is good,
He is awesome and great.
He helps me be strong,
Even when I’m afraid.
I will say thank you,
For all He has done.
For me and my people,
He loves everyone.

During this series we will be journeying through and exploring ‘Everything's a Gift’. Through scripture and well-known bible stories we’ll explore how this DNA is about having an attitude of gratitude. We pray that children will grasp that God loves a grateful heart and that we have so much that we can be grateful for.
