Moments That Matter: The Call of Communion

Moments That Matter: The Call of Communion

This series focuses on rediscovering the meaning of communion. What can easily become routine is actually a powerful invitation to slow down, remember what Jesus has done, renew our hearts before Him, and look ahead with hope. We will be challenged to move beyond going through the motions and re-engage with a moment that was always meant to shape our lives.

We don't always reject the sacred, we simply reduce it.
The way you approach something always reveals what you believe it’s worth.
Communion calls us to remember.
If you don’t remember your rescue, you will slowly drift back toward your old life.
A covenant is a binding promise between God and His
people.
• God delivered us.
• This cost something.
• We belong to Him.
• Remember what I’ve done for you.
• Remember what it cost.
• Remember who you are because of it.
What are you letting shape your memory? Because
whatever you rehearse, you remember.
Communion calls us to renewal.
Communion is a moment that should confront us to renew our minds and to move towards holiness.
Communion doesn’t just remind you of mercy and forgiveness, it invites you to walk in it.
The cross doesn’t just comfort you. It confronts you.
Communion calls us forward to rejoice.
When you lose sight of the future, you start to lose strength in the present.
The table reminds us that what Jesus started at the cross, He will finish when He returns.
Jesus, You are Savior.
Lord, I surrender.
King Jesus, my hope is in you.
We are people of hope.
hey
