THE SHAKING IS MEANT TO BE. EMBRACE IT!

Perhaps the most visual representation of a shaking is an earthquake, and just as the experience of an earthquake can be very scary and upsetting, the same applies to a ‘shaking’. We, as humans, prioritize our comfort and jealously guard it; however, when faced with uncomfortable situations, we must not be disconcerted.

Just as all His plans are for our good and not to harm us, the shaking is also for our good. As a matter of fact, the shaking is orchestrated to bring about greater glory, riches and peace for you and me. It takes faith to trust God in the middle of a challenging situation. During his travail Job said, ‘though he slay me, yet will I hope in him’.

Wouldn’t you rather disregard the shaking and focus on God who never changes irrespective of the issue? He has promised to bring about greater glory from the shaking. So, embrace the shaking, believe His report and position yourself to engage the calm, beauty, peace, and glory set to come out of the shaking.

Confession: I am not perturbed by my situation; I see my circumstances through God’s eyes. I choose to believe God’s report and I see His Hand in all that concerns me. God is working all things together for my good.
