DAY 5 — His Promise Never Fails  

As I’ve said many times, the Christian life is not based on the promises we make to God, but rather upon the promises He makes to us. This fundamental shift in our thinking will bring true rest and peace in our lives. God’s promises produce rest. Peace will flood our hearts when we accept the glorious truth that not one of God’s promises has failed to come to pass—not one! If God kept His promises to the Old Covenant people, you can be absolutely sure He will keep His promises to you, who are under a New Covenant—made by Him and kept by Him!
